RULES:

The following rules of this tournament will remain unchanged. Interpretation of these rules shall be left exclusively to Tournament Officials. Their decision shall be final in all matters.

Registration: Boats will leave the dock in the order that they are drawn. All participants will need to check in 30 minutes before safe light and have livewell checked on the morning of the tournament.

Participants: Maximum of 2 anglers allowed per boat

Sportsmanship: All competitors are expected to follow a high standard of sportsmanship and courtesy.

Tackle and Equipment: Only artificial lures may be used. No live bait will be permitted. Only one casting, spincasting or spinning rod may be used at any one time. All Bass must be caught live and in a sporting manner. Trolling will not be permitted.

Basic Boat Equipment: Every boat must have all required Coast Guard Safety equipment. Boats will be inspected prior to tournament time.

Official Checkpoint: Check-out in the morning and check-in in the afternoon will be held at Lakepoint Marina on Lake Eufaula. At check-out all competitors shall have conformed to all rules and regulations. At check-in each boat will be directed to an official weigh in area. Partners are encouraged to stay together during weigh-in.

Boat Identification: Each boat may be given a numbered card. This card will be used for identification and for determining flight or take off position. (Depends on number of entries)

Scoring: Only Largemouth, Spotted, Smallmouth, Red Eye or Shoal bass will be weighed. The limit shall be five (5) of the above species per boat. Largemouth bass which measure fourteen (14) inches or more in length (with mouth closed and moving tail side-to-side) shall be presented for weighing. Spots can be twelve (12) inches in total length. The accumulated total weight shall determine standings. At no time shall a boat have more than five (5) fish in its possession. Culling of fish must be done at catch and not at weigh-in.

Permitted Fishing Areas: Fishing on tournament waters is permitted anywhere except areas marked off limits, within 50 yards of gas pumps, or within 50 yards of a competitor’s boat. Maneuvering boats shall be followed no closer than 50 yards. All angling must be done from the boat. All bass must be caught live and in a conventional sporting manner. Contestants must not leave the boat to land fish.

Ties: In case of tie for any position, money will be split for those two positions.

Care of Fish: A 2 oz. penalty per dead fish will be deducted from the total weight. All live fish will be returned to the water except for trophy fish (7 lbs. or better may be kept for mounting).

Late Penalty: Competitors who are not at the official check-in point at the appointed time shall be disqualified. There is to be no excuse for being late. After proper check-in, competitors will be allowed ample time to proceed to the weigh-in site. All fishing must cease upon check-in.

Protests: Protest in writing must be registered no later than 30 minutes after the conclusion of weigh-in.

Tournament Time: From safe-light till 2:00pm CST. Safe-light will be determined and posted the morning of the tournament.

Disbursement: Payouts will be based on total number of registered boats. At a minimum, the top 3 slots will be cash payouts.
