Mother’s Day Shoal Lily Sponsorships

Our Chattahoochee River once held one of the world’s largest populations of the rare, native Shoal Lily. Man-made alterations to the river caused this plant to be nearly lost, but the restoration efforts of the CRC are seeing its return. The Shoal Lily boasts big, beautiful white blooms around Mother’s Day each year that attract visitors from all over to witness the majestic sight.

A Mother’s Day Shoal Lily sponsorship honors the beloved mothers in your life and helps support the restoration of this important plant to our river’s ecosystem. All beneficiaries will be recognized in a Mother’s Day post and will receive a digital certificate that can be framed and given on Mother’s Day. Plantings will take place between May - August, 2024.
